EW Rice Construction Inc is a family-owned construction business, located in Santa Maria, CA.
Eric Rice, owner and operator, has been working in the construction industry for over 25 years, and is licensed, bonded, and insured.
Eric has ample experience working on ranches, vineyards and farms, as a licensed contractor here on the Central Coast. In his free time, he enjoys raising grass-fed beef and lamb on a 185-acre ranch, with his wife and children.
We stand out!
In addition to being a licensed contractor, Eric received his Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) in 2013. Permaculture is defined as the development of agricultural ecosystems intended to be sustainable and self-sufficient. Therefore, setting up a system where a vineyard or ranch can maintain itself, while being profitable, is a bonus for both the ecosystem and business itself. Here at E W Rice Construction, we recognize the growing need to balance both aspects of agriculture, and have successfully implemented designs on our own ranch, such as creating swales for water catchment, road grading to prevent erosion, and running our well pump on solar power.
